You are free to apply any character from folklore, fable, or fairytale. Characters from animated adaptations are also welcome. Want to play Cogsworth from Disney's Beauty & the Beast? That's fine with us.

You may use either ic or ooc format for your character's username, as long as the journal is only used for your character and no other.

Please have a backdated ooc contact post and a biography posted in your journal. As much of our ic interaction will take place in the communities, an ic communication post in your journal is not required. But if you want to throw one up, go ahead. :)

When characters decided to live in their new city, they took on a new human form. Characters who were previously not human would be turned into humans upon their arrival. You are free to alter the character's apparent age. While one may have been older in their classic form, they could be a young adult in their modern form. If one may have been younger in their classic form, they could be older in their modern form. Just keep in mind that, when a form (or PB) is chosen, characters cannot choose another.

After being accepted into the game, you have 48 hours to post an in-character introduction. The date and time for introduction deadlines are stated in acceptance comments made to each application. If you fail to post an introduction, you will be removed from the game.

All activity should be posted in the communities, not in your character's journal. Journal entries, social media posts, lyrics, or any other form of general in-character interaction should be posted in our main community (~recompose) and threads should be posted in our thread community (~distributed). Please do not post links to entries in your journal.

We require two forms of activity each month - a post from your character AND someone else's post that has comments from your character. Journal entries, social media posts, and threads are all acceptable forms of activity, but such updates must have interaction between your character and others from the game. There is no word count or required number of comments, just as long as you show effort in the game. Narratives are accepted every other month.

There will be an activity check-in posted in the mod journal where you may submit your activity. We will only give one warning for activity the week prior to removals. Removals take place at 10PM EST on the last day of each month. Extensions are given upon request.

Our check-in post will be located here and you are welcome to submit activity at any point in the month. We will post a few reminders in the last two weeks of the month. Removals will occur on the last day of the month.

We have no discord channel for this game and will likely never have one. OOC interaction is encouraged for plotting and contact information will be posted in our members area. Please be respectful to everyone in the game. A lot of world building is taking place in the game, and everyone has their own view for their characters. Disagreements will happen, but plotting and compromising can be a rewarding experience! Let's keep things fun!

We have a three strike system. If you are the common denominator in three instances, we will remove you from our game. If you are having difficulties with another player, and you are unable to resolve the conflict on your own, please request a custom via our drop box. We will post a link to your custom at your journal's dropbox.
